My cousin found it and tagged me. The timing was perfect, because for the past week I have been struggling with my yarn spindle that my husband made for me. I could not get the ball of yarn to roll smoothly, no matter how I positioned it.
After seeing the picture, I realized that I could place the spindle sideways and have my husband cut me a block with a hole in it to hold up the free end of the dowel. Much to my surprise, it just happened to fit into the natural hole in my favorite yarn basket!
At last – an handy yarn dispenser that does not get jammed up. The best part is that I can put any size ball of yarn on it.
